Modular Reception Building

The Brief

The client requried a modular reception building with a meeting room, kitchen, accessible toilet and Reception waiting area.

The Concept

A 12.2m x 9.6m structure was built off site, externally clad with timber to give a modern yet natural finish. The roof incorporated trussing to achieve a double pitched roof to compliment the existing surrounding buildings.

Accessibility

We had the task of constructing a building with a double pitched roof which could be safely transported to site for final assembly. The entire building was made up of five seperate bays which, once assembled comprised a waiting area, reception area, kitchen, meeting room, server room and accessible toilet.

Sustainability

Due to the nature of being built OFF-site, partial sustainability speaks for itself. The building also had to meet the latest building regulations and passed the latest air tightness test with flying colours.
